For Odell Beckham, the biggest takeaway from the New York Giants playoff loss to Green Bay Sunday has to be the old adage about walking the walk.

Much ado was made about the Giants receivers taking an impromptu day off to Miami last week, and then when it came time to go back to work, the unit's best player was a virtual no-show.

And according to quarterback Eli Manning, by saying the shirtless boat trip would have no impact on the game then laying an egg in the  38-13 embarrassment at Lambeau, Beckham ultimately failed to back up his words.

"You do things, you've got to back it up," Manning, who finished 23-of-44 for 299 yards and one touchdown, told the New York Daily News. "You've got to learn that the perception of things makes it different. I thought we had a great week of practice...Unfortunately we just didn't have it yesterday...I don't have concerns. I think Odell does...This was important for him. He wanted to go out there and have the best game of his career. And maybe he put to much pressure on himself.."

Of 11 targets, Beckham caught four balls for just 28 yards, and dropped three passes at critical points in the game. He continued to stress, however, that the Miami trip did not factor into his performance.
