Eli Manning won't be playing on Sunday when the New York Giants face off against the Oakland Raiders. And he may be done for the season. And quite possibly his Giants career may be over, or at least that's what one NFL insider may be speculating.

Throughout the season, rumors have been floated that Manning's time in New York could be up.
Deion Sanders pieced together a hopeful trade to Denver, while an NFL.com piece launched Manning to Jacksonville. That's led to speculation of the Giants' future without Manning.
Manning rejoining his former coach, Tom Coughlin, in Jacksonville wouldn't be the strangest thing in the world. Especially if the Giants decide now is the time for a youth movement.
According to a release from the Giants, head coach Ben McAdoo is aiming to get a good, long look at Geno Smith and Davis Webb over the last five games of the season.
"Geno will start this week," McAdoo said. "Over the last five games, we will take a look at Geno, and we will also give Davis an opportunity."
According to the report, Manning was given the option to start, but declined with no opportunity to finish the game.
The Giants have a whopping 19 players on injured reserve, including top playmakers Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall.
New York is 2-9 on the season.
Manning has started every game since November 21, 2004, when he took over for Kurt Warner. Manning's consecutive games started streak ends at 210, falling short of Brett Favre's record 297 games. Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion.
Smith joined the Giants as a free agent after four years with the New York Jets. He's thrown for 278 touchdowns and 36 interceptions over his career.
Webb was selected in the third round out of the University of Cal.
