Easley is entering his fourth season in the NFL, and he recorded 3.5 sacks last season for the Rams.
Easley's career has been plagued by knee injuries. This is the third time he's torn his ACL, and he tore it the first two times while playing college football at Florida.
The New England Patriots drafted Easley with the No. 29 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, and he started three games for the team over two seasons before being released. He did win a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2014, but he was injured and not on the active roster for the game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Hopefully Easley can return to full health and contribute somewhere next season.
