Michigan State's Shilique Calhoun has been regarded as one of the best defensive players in college football over the past few years. Calhoun is three-time All-Big Ten and a three-time All-American from the defensive end spot, accumulating 27 sacks and 44 tackles for loss in his great career at Michigan State.
Heisman winner Derrick Henry doesn't care for any of that.
Late in the Cotton Bowl, Henry started to get a seam on the edge, with the only player he needed to beat being Calhoun. Not only did Henry beat Calhoun, but he threw him down with a vicious stiff-arm, allowing Henry to easily get away.
Henry rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns in Alabama's 38-0 win over the Spartans in the College Football Playoff semifinal.
