ESPN college basketball analyst Dan Dakich is no stranger to Big Ten rivalries having played at Indiana himself in the 1980s. His son chose a similar path, but played a much smaller role for Michigan the past three seasons. Now, he will transfer out as a graduate to another Big Ten institution in desperate need of some leadership:

The younger Dakich never averaged more than a point in his three years at Michigan, but could provide some leadership to a very young group of Buckeyes under new coach Chris Holtmann. Tons of players either went pro or left the program after last season because it was clear Thad Matta was not sticking around for another year.
