Daniel Herron's nickname is "Boom," and that's one way to probably describe the pain he suffered on this play. With the Colts driving, Herron was stripped near midfield by Cincinnati Bengals DB Darqueze Dennard. It wasn't the penis punch that actually led to the fumble, but Dennard's strip.
It's still extremely painful and probably one of the reasons why his focus was lost for a moment.
Herron's fumble at the end of the second half led to a career-long 57-yard FG for Bengals kicker Mike Nugent.
The Colts ended up beating the Bengals 26-10.
