
Lanard Fournette, a running back for the LSU Tigers, is in hot water after being arrested in connection with an illegal gambling allegation.

Fournette, a sophomore running back, was escorted out of L'Auberge Casino in Baton Rouge Saturday night after being questioned by security, according to a police report obtained by WAFB-TV. Fournette, 20, was booked Monday afternoon into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison under suspicion of using a fake ID to gamble, and court documents indicate he was released on $1,000 bond, WAFB reported.
The Advocate said there is a surveillance tape of the incident.

Fournette, a 5-foot-10, 199 pounder, was redshirted as a freshman. The three-star prospect is the brother of former LSU star Leonard Fournette, who was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the fourth overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.
