As one of the most talented and oft-criticized quarterbacks in the NFL, the obvious comparison for Cam Newton is the equally electrifying LeBron James.
But during NFL Super Bowl week's Opening Night Monday evening, Newton didn't love the comparison and asked why James isn't compared to him.
Reporter: Are you the LeBron of the NFL?
Cam: "Why can't LeBron be the Cam Newton of power forwards?"

James has been in the NBA Finals six times, won twice and won four MVP awards in 13 seasons. Newton is appearing in his first Super Bowl five years into his career, and he'll likely take home his first MVP award this year.
We get what Newton was saying, but he won't get a surefire Hall of Famer compared to him until he gets his numbers up and takes home a title or two.
