It's not often that a racing track hosts a football game, but that is most definitely the case for Tennessee and Virginia Tech. The two will meet to open the season at the "Battle for Bristol" in Bristol, Tennessee. Usually fields can take a few weeks or even a couple months to complete. Well, the grounds crew at the track is not messing around nine months ahead of the game.

The game will be held at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 10th, 2016 and it seems like it's definitely not too early to start preparing the fields for what's to come.
