For those unaware, Jennings was completely out of the NBA for a quick minute, last playing for the Shanxi Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association. Of note, the Dragons actually waived him back in December.
In 13 games for the Dragons, he averaged 27.9 points 6.8 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 2.7 steals across 35.0 minutes per contest.
Jennings was last in the NBA with both the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards just last season. He struggled, averaging 7.1 points, 4.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game.
Most likely remembered as the high school kid who went overseas instead of going the college route, Jennings is also the cat who dropped 55 points as a rookie just seven games into his career while a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Only 28, Jennings is certainly hoping to regain form and/or learn from past mistakes on the hardwood. Never known as an issue off the court, if his on-court ideals are in check, he certainly has enough talent to make it back to the big leagues.
Only time will tell what Jennings either has left in the tank, or what he has added into it.
