An electrifying athlete on the field, defenses have found it difficult to stop who should be the league MVP, Cam Newton.

When it came to asking some of the NFL's retired how they would stop Newton, it really wasn't too much of a surprise considering the source.

First was former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison:

"I would go right at his knees. I would try to hurt him. That might be difference between winning and losing a Super Bowl." - Rodney on Cam
