Here's a statement from the league:

"The violation was flagrant and warrants a suspension because it could have been avoided, was violently directed at the head and neck area and unreasonably placed both you and an opposing player at risk of serious injury."

That hit put Wallace in concussion protocol.

WR Mike Wallace (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Wallace eventually walked off the field, but was not allowed back in the game despite him trying to return. Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo was the one who hit Wallace on the catch and was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Wallace was named a Pro Bowler in 2011 when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played there from 2009 to 2012 and then played with the Dolphins for two seasons before joining the Vikings in 2015 and then joining the Ravens the next year, where he's been since. He has over 500 receptions and over 7,500 receiving yards in his career.
