Alabama and LSU will have a week off to rest and recover ahead of the team's highly anticipated matchup on November 5.
Fans, on the other hand, appear ready to go judging by a furious reverend of all people. Here's what Alabama's AL.com beat writer Michael Casagrande shared from a reported angry reverend, via Twitter:
This vague threat of violence was emailed to me by a reverend. Not kidding. pic.twitter.com/IIti4PQ2qW

In the tweet, the fan asks if a "jury in Alabama would convict an Alabama fan if they took a ball bat and beat the crap out of you in Tuscaloosa?"
They go on to talk about how Alabama held Leonard Fournette in check last season, then calls hm a moron and again notes that "somebody needs to beat (the reporter's) ass with a baseball bat for being very, very stupid."
It evidently doesn't take much to get some Alabama fans riled up, as it seems like this was a pretty harmless article:
This is the story that made the reader so mad. Seriously. https://t.co/CnCeihyybn
