Since arriving at the University of Georgia, head coach Kirby Smart has almost immediately recruited at a high level, but the Georgia Bulldogs need to keep adding to fill out a lot of glaring holes on the team. Perhaps most notably is their offensive line, where offensive line coach Sam Pittman is pushing hard for offensive guard Trey Hill.
Via 247sports:
"Georgia is recruiting me very hard, harder than anyone," Hill said Sunday, at the Atlanta Opening Regional. "Coach Pittman wants me and Jamaree Salyer in this class more than anything, after we just signed six in the last class."
Georgia may have a depth problem at quarterback right now, but it's clear that Smart and Pittman know they need more studs on the offensive line in this 2018 class, so they have to like what they're hearing from Hill thus far.
More from 247sports:
"I like the coaching staff at Georgia, my family likes Georgia as well, my older brother played for Kirby Smart at Valdosta State, and I would love to block for my guy Jake Fromm again," Hill said.
The article notes that Hill isn't expected to make a decision anytime soon, though.
Hill is the No. 2 offensive guard in the class of 2018.
